Seattle's Elevator |

When most people think of Seattle they don't think of grain, but we do have a grain elevator. We don't know if its four million bushel capacity is exceptionally large or just normal sized, but it can fill the largest ships in under twenty-four hours, and it can load two different types of grain simultaneously. It takes in grain by the semi- and train-load from just about every state west of the Missouri and ships it to the Far East as well as Central and South America.
