Michael and Kaylyn's Adventures

Something Smells Fishy

Razz and Scout are picky eaters, and it's hard to find treats they both like. They sure like these fish, though! Scout looks at a fish Razz looks at a fish

Kids Will Be Kids

Just like kids everywhere on Christmas, our girls were into everything but completely ignored the toys we bought them. Razz gets way into a bag Scout plays with some ribbon

Oh Boy!

Michael gave Kaylyn some ceramic cottages that moonlight as incense burners. Kaylyn rather liked them. Kaylyn excitedly opens her gift Kaylyn shows off her incense-burning ceramic cottages

Treasure Hunt

Kaylyn emptied her stocking the old fashioned way: piece by piece. Stuffed way down near the bottom was...a book jacket? For the new Nick Bantock book! But where's the book itself? Kaylyn is excited to find a book jacket in her stocking
Hidden, of course, in the best Hunter tradition. Kaylyn finds the book
Nick Bantock doesn't write books, really. They're more like interactive experiences -- a grown-up pop-up book, you could say. Kaylyn has the complete set and loves them to pieces. Kaylyn reads her new book

Bleep! Bloop! Crash!

Michael emptied his stocking the fast way: invert and shake. Amongst the goodies was a miniature Sonic the Hedgehog video game, which kept him occupied while Kaylyn made breakfast. Michael empties his Christmas stocking Michael plays a small handheld video game

Happy Holidays From Michael and Kaylyn!

Purple People Sitter

Kaylyn wasn't at all excited that Michael gave her a shoulder sitter dragon -- not one little bit. Kaylyn is excited when she realizes what she's unwrapping Kaylyn models her shoulder sitter dragon

Birthday Bandages

Who would give Kaylyn bandages for her birthday? Michael's sister Jennifer, that's who. That box turned out to not be bandages after all but rather a beautiful pair of earrings. Kaylyn got bandages for her birthday Kaylyn shows off the earrings that were inside the bandage box

Seattle in May -- Oops, I Mean December

Seattle in December is just like Seattle in May, only more so: lots of clouds, lots of sun, and the occasional sunny day. Kaylyn's birthday was sunny as could be! Puget Sound from our balcony on a sunny December morning
