Mooooo!

Not far from Zack and Angela's house, just there on the side of the road, is a dairy farm. The cows were being milked when we stopped by -- which was cool -- but the real reason we visited was the newish-born calf barn.

This year's entire crop was there nicely contained in calf-sized pens just waiting to be petted. One in particular took a liking to Michael...well, to his shorts, at least! We don't know what exactly it is about denim, but this calf spent a good five minutes sucking the juices out of Michael's trousers. (Michael finally put a stop to it once his shorts became about as wet as if he had jumped in a lake!)

"I'm not seeing this! I'm not seeing this!" (Or was it, "What is this called again? A farm? I used to know what a farm looks like...")

Go Water Go
| Our friends Zack (who works with Michael) and Angela (who stamps with Kaylyn) kidnapped us and hauled us over the mountains to eastern Washington. Leavenworth, to be exact. Along the way we stopped at Deception Falls National Forest. Because you know we never turn down an opportunity to watch huge amounts of water roaring down the side of a mountain!
